Jasmine

I was born in Ōtautahi (Christchurch), Aotearoa and have lived in Te Whanganui-a-tara/Wellington since 2012. I now reside in Te Awakairangi/Lower Hutt with my partner and two dogs.

I am a pākehā cis woman (she/her pronouns), and I identify as queer/gay/lesbian. I am pssionate about social justice and I am an ally to those in the trans, neurospicy, polyamorous, fat, disabled, sex-work, and kink communities.

In my spare time, I enjoy crafts, music, and spending time with friends. If you have any questions about me feel free to ask!

My approach

I work with people experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, OCD, identity, and interpersonal/relationship difficulties.

I aim to create a safe and affirming environment and use evidence-based therapies to work flexibly and collaboratively with my clients so they can get what they want out of therapy.

I enjoy working with people at all stages of their lives; however, I have a particular interest in working with young adults. I work with young people and their families, however I am not available for family therapy.
